Highland Park 1989/2009 ‘Triple Wood’ (51.0%, MoS, C# 10521)
N: sweet, herbal, some slight waxiness, very delicate and elegant.
T: spicy and creamy, beer, nutty, elegant sherry touches, sweet.
F: getting a bit alcoholic and mineral on the finish.
B: not bad, but ‘modern’ whisky.
Verdict: 82/100.
